Line up domino goals

Create a cascading goals page: someday, five-year, one-year, monthly, weekly, daily. Link each level so you can trace how today’s most important task propels the long-term vision. Dotty’s backlinks make it easy to verify whether daily plans truly serve the bigger domino.

Ask the focusing question

In your Daily plan template, add a prompt: “What’s the ONE Thing I can do today such that by doing it everything else will be easier or unnecessary?” Capture the answer as a dedicated card and block time on your calendar for it before anything else steals the slot.

Resist multitasking and protect your block

Tag the One Thing block with “Focus” and hide all other tasks while you work. When interruptions appear, jot them into a “Later” list rather than reacting. Dotty keeps that list close so you can address it after the block ends without derailing the main effort.
